SAP Calculations / SBEM Calculations

Eco Elite energy advisors are able to support your business with your SAP Calculations.

To comply with building regulations part L1A you must have SAP calculations carried out on residential construction projects.

The SAP calculations will produce a SAP report for your individual project.

The SAP report must show a pass for your project /building to pass Building Control Regulations Part L1A.

SAP calculations will work our Target Energy Rating (TER) and Dwelling Emission Rate (DER) for the building to pass regulation the DER must be equal to or less than the TER for your project /building to show a pass.

SBEM Calculations are similar to the above however are based on non domestic construction projects and comply to Building Regulations Part L1B.

With SBEM, calculations are worked out with TRE followed by a Building Emission Rate (BER), the BER must be equal or less than the TER for the SBEM to show a pass.
